刈谷市交通児童遊園
It is a very interesting park which my one-year-old daughter enjoys a lot! Although she still cannot play some of the attractions such as kid's roller coaster and kid's carting, there are enough attractions and play tools for her to spend more than 4 hours on exploring!
Attractions inside the park are EXTREMELY CHEAP!! My daughter plays with these small little play tools. Usually they cost 100yen-200yen/time in shopping malls and other outdoor playgrounds. Here they cost only 20yen/time!!! There are about 10 different kinds of little vehicle like this.
Mini Shinkansen train-riding for 2 rounds costs only 50yen!!!
Even Merry-Go-Around and this kind of flying attraction cost only 50yen!!!
Also, Kid's Roller Coaster and Kid's Carting cost only 50yen for one round!!

I heard that the park is actually a non-profit theme park supported by Kariya City. Attractions are so cheap that I am sure the park is suffering from deficit. But the park is still opened because it hopes that kids will be happy! Staff in the park is cheerful granddads and lovely grandmas who are working as volunteers. It is a park full of joy and love!
Warm Reminder:
There is no restaurant in the park. We bring our own lunch with us. There is a convenient store nearby (5mins walk) as well. You can buy lunch there and bring inside the park to enjoy it. There is a big grassy area where parents and kids have picnic. There are also tables and chairs which everyone can freely use.

If you take the train – Take the JR Tokaido Line or Meitetsu Mikawa Line, and get off at Kariya Station, then walk for 8mins
