Aichi Children’s Center is an amazing place for kids to spend an entire day on playing, exploring, and challenging themselves through new experiences! It is a place full of fun, excitement, and freedom! Inside the center, kids can encouraged to run around and move their bodies freely. Kids can also think creatively and play freely with various kinds of play tools and toys!

"The Aichi Children’s Center is a non-profit, prefectural facility that serves the children of Aichi in four ways:
  1. Experience and education: Kids Town offers activities designed to offer rich experiences to children
  2. Research and development: R&D of recreation, playthings, environments, and child development
  3. Education and training: Training and seminars for the area’s advisers and volunteers
  4. Public relations: Promoting child development"

There are many tunnels and bridges inside the center so that kids can run around freely! This is full of excitement because kids are continuously finding themselves in new places!

This is a very high tower where kids can run until they reach the top of the tower! It is so much fun and kids have a great chance to release their energy!

There is an interesting slide-like play tool in the center. My one-year-old daughter has so much fun running and climbing on it!

There is also a big playroom where kids from 0 years old are welcomed. The room is all of wooden toys that help develop motor skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity. There is also a nursery room for hungry babies to have their milk.

There is also a water play area which is opened during summer vacation. Kids can wear their swimsuits and play with the small pools and waterfalls! They can bring their own water guns and other water play tools there!

I have just introduced a tiny bit of some of the interesting areas in the center. There are actually many more interesting and exciting play tools! All in all, I would say that Aichi Children's Center is a fantastic place for kids to release their energy and creativity! Why not take a trip to the center, and spend an exciting and fun day with your kids?

Warm Reminder:
There is only one cafe in the center. Thus it can be terribly crowded during weekends. I bring my own lunch every time I go there with my daughter so that we can have our lunch without waiting for table. As I don't want to carry too many things with me, I usually bought rice balls and drinks in the convenient store at Fujigaoka Station (before taking the Linimo Line).
